Impact & Momentum
February Recap: A Month of Impact and Momentum
February has been an incredible month filled with creativity, new opportunities, and major milestones. From collaborating with local organizations to launching new mural projects, each moment has been a reminder of why I stay Dedicated On Purpose Everyday. One of the most exciting highlights was painting a mural at Sound Garden in Baltimore to celebrate Lady Gaga’s new album. Bringing that vision to life in such an iconic space was a surreal experience and a testament to the power of art in connecting people through music and culture.
Another major win came during CIAA Weekend, where my custom-designed cups debuted at CFG Bank Arena. Seeing them in the hands of thousands of attendees was a proud moment, made even more special by the recognition from CIAA Commissioner Jacqie McWilliams, Mayor Brandon Scott, and Governor Wes Moore on social media. The energy at CIAA was electric, and being part of such a historic event solidified the importance of representation and storytelling through art.
Beyond these high-profile moments, February was also about building and closing chapters. I wrapped up the “February Hues” exhibition at Motor House, showcasing my work alongside talented local artists. The artist talk last Thursday was a great way to close out the show, engaging in meaningful conversations about our creative journeys. At the same time, new doors are opening—ending the month with fresh mural leads and upcoming projects for the spring and summer season.
As March begins, I’m diving into a new mural at a local middle school and preparing for projects at other locations. I’m also excited for an upcoming collaboration with the Reginald F. Lewis Museum for Women’s History Month, continuing to tell powerful stories through art. With the third quarter coming to an end, my focus remains on acquiring new projects, securing partnerships, and ensuring the next season is even bigger than the last.
February was a reminder that hard work and consistency create momentum. As I move forward, my mission remains the same—using art to inspire, uplift, and transform. Another day, another opportunity to push the vision forward and make an impact. Let’s keep building!
